Weekend Trip

August 13, 2016Watch movie online The Transporter Refueled (2015)

On my very first weekend in Costa Rica my family decided to take me on a trip to the Coast. I was very excited for the opportunity to see the country, I can’t help but be amazed every time I have the chance to go to the beach. I love the sunshine, the salty air and my hair becoming curly from the salty water. It was just the perfect welcome present.WhatsApp Image 2016-08-26 at 11.44.01 (2)

At family trips you always get to see everyone’s worst side, at least that’s what I’ve experienced in the past 16 years, everyone always got in a fight and complained about what they didn’t want to do. Of course this did not happen, it was a very relaxing weekend and it was the perfect way to get comfortable with each other. Not only that but I got to see another beautiful part of this gorgeous country. In my last post I talked about nature, the mountains, and now I can talk about the beaches. It was incredible going next to the coastline, on one side you could see the mountains and on the other the sea. I have never seen anything like this before; I sat in the car in silence enchanted by nature. Once in a while I took out my phone and captured some pictures.

After about 4 hours we arrived to Punta Uvita, which is on the southern Pacific coast. It is not just simply a beach but also a protected National Park. The water was crystal clear and very refreshing. It’s hard to explain this beautiful place with words so here’s my weekend in pictures:

Punta Uvita is also known for its whale watching tours which I also got to take part in. For the first time ever in my life I saw real whales in the wild!

The next day we headed to Manuel Antonio National Park which is home to many tropical animals like sloths and monkeys (yes, I saw both😉)  and also beautiful white sand beaches:
